The internet at this hostel is very temperamental, so I’m going to jot down some quick bullet points now and then elaborate on them later.

• My friend Ana and I are currently in La Serena, a beach + desert (yes, both!) town 6 hours north of Santiago
• I survived my first overnight bus ride!
• My university orientation is coming up on Tuesday…so nervous!
• The ILP (Intensive Language Program) is over; I feel like :) and :( at the same time
